Patti Ziemke
Patti Ziemke is a stay-at-home mom of three children. She received her Bachelors degree in sociology in 1994 and her Masters degree in journalism in 1997. She is a freelance writer, specializing in business and individual profiles and and has been writing professionally for ten years. She currently freelances for the Bay Area News Group and was an associate editor at Upside Media, a magazine dedicated to technology from 1999-2000. An active volunteer in her children's activities, she regularly volunteers at the elementary school where her children attend as well as recreational involvement in gymnastics and soccer. When her children were in preschool, Patti served as Intercommunications chair of the parent participation preschool. An avid runner, Patti competes in 5K, 10K, 12K, half marathon and marathon races. Passionate about children, adoption and health, Patti brings to the table years of experience combined with a desire to learn and educate others.
